Maggie earned her law degree from the University of British Columbia in 1999, and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2000. After practicing for 2 years in her hometown of Trail, BC, she moved to Golden to continue her career and for new adventures. She has worked with Fairley & Scott as an associate since 2008.

After 7 years of practicing family law, criminal defence and civil litigation, Maggie's main interests are now in solicitor's work, including wills and estates, probate, corporate and commercial work, all kinds of real estate transactions, and also some litigation including collections and foreclosures.

Maggie is fortunate to have a 4-day work week, and even more fortunate to have a young son to spend her non-work days with. For fun, Maggie enjoys keeping Golden laughing with her antics as a member of the Golden Players community theatre group, attending local arts events, the Golden Wine Club, birdwatching and travelling with friends and family.
